Within
all traditions an integral practice for body, mind and spirit is encouraged
as "best form" for continuing on the path.
At the Hermitage Cottage resources exist to facilitate this process
with texts of Wisdom, a place of simple quietude, a context of natural
beauty and wealth of historic wisdom
"If [man] thinks of the totality
as constituted of independent
fragments, then that is how his mind will tend to operate, but if he
can include everything coherently and harmoniously in an overall
whole that is undivided, unbroken, and without a border then his mind
will tend to move in a similar way, and from this will flow an orderly
action within the whole."

for new possibilities to emerge.
A labyrinth
is a single path or unicursal tool for personal, psychological
and spiritual transformation. Labyrinths are thought to enhance
right brain activity.
"The labyrinth is a great healer, a cosmological pathway
that people have walked for eons. The labyrinth opens us up to
the larger stories of life, death and rebirth and people have
been walking for thousands of years. When you walk the labyrinth,
your story is part of a much bigger picture, one filled with mystery;
the labyrinth opens you to the mystery of your life and the greater
mystery in which all life is held. This is what heals."
