Stitched Labyrinths This Labyrinth has been stitched by a Mongolian woman householder with children (www.maitreyacharity.org) She has been trained by Asral NGO, Mongolia, to create a self-sustaining income. Women householders are the poorest members of Mongolian society, and they value the support that comes from women in other parts of the world. This Labyrinth has been designed to relax the mind into a focused and peaceful state. It is a form of meditation and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and gender, helping to release stress and tension. This hand stitched labyrinth is embroidered onto lightweight material. This ‘Pocket Labyrinth’ can be easily carried with you and pulled out for use when you have a spare moment to give yourself meditative quietude.
