Transformation in Human Systems
Life is becoming more complex, and is constantly changing. New levels of diversity and complexity continue to perplex and challenge our ways of understanding "how things work". Whether you're dealing in human services, running a business for profit or just trying to ‘do your job’ as best you can, the same issues meet you "face to face".

The Hermitage Cottage is pleased to offer a unique context for group meetings that is not only a place to meet, but also an active encouragement toward inclusion within the complex and increasingly diverse lives we are now entering in Northern Ireland.

Introducing:
The Hermitage Cottage Yurt
What is a Yurt?

The Hermitage Cottage Yurt is available for hire as a meeting space and classroom and provides a pleasing area for meeting using the long establish pattern of ‘meeting in circle’. The space serves groups of up to 35 people. The yurt is also set in a 2 acre garden. It is the perfect atmosphere for initial meetings, creating ‘breakthrough’ possibilities for business, and provides training space and collective group reflections. An adjacent walking labyrinth is also available for team building use.
It is a Neutral Space and provides a unique possibility for ‘Meeting in Circle’.

ALLOW THE SPACE ITSELF HELP CREATE THE RESULTS YOU ARE SEEKING

Teas and Coffee available. Restaurants nearby*. Ample parking available.
Mineral water, 1 flipchart, conference notepaper, screen, ample electric outlets
(*Finger buffet lunch by arrangement)

The only Yurt in Northern Ireland ~a unique meeting space

The Hermitage Cottage Yurt is a modern adaptation of the ancient circular shelter used by Central Asian nomads for centuries. The compact shape of the yurt and combination of lightweight members in tension and compression mean that the structure is highly efficient in maximizing strength while minimizing the use of materials. Heated with an environmentally friendly air cooled heat pump and carpeted throughout, the Yurt provides a conducive atmosphere for many learning modes and for open dialogue.

Organisational Integral Assessment
Organisational Assessment offers your organisation a useful tool for securing transformative change in your group, your company and quite personally, in your own life.
As a member of the Pacific Integral Network, I endeavour to ascertain patterns that work within the organization, those that may be hindering you reaching your goals, and possibilities for creating a context for positive and effective action that serves every one and the whole endeavour simultaneously.

Pacific Integral works with both individuals and organizations that are committed to the emergence of a sustainable, equitable and beautiful future for humanity. (www.pacificintegral.com)
The purpose of Pacific Integral is to build the capacity in individuals, groups, organizations and institutions around the world to generate integral, transformational development in human systems.

Multiple Bottom Lines

A new programme on offer to businesses and organizations to assist in this fast paced Northern Irish changing work scene.

Any business or organization looks to achieve success by focussing on ‘the bottom line’ ~ the profit or service provided.

Introducing Multiple Bottom Lines

Multiple Bottom Lines are braided together into one resulting phenomenon. No one bottom line speaks to the total reality of any business or organisation

Multiple Bottom Lines :: The Crucial Questions

1) Quality of Product or Programme: does the business serve something beyond itself in the world? Does it offer MEANING MAKING for those it serves? Human beings necessitate meaning in their lives. Large portions of their lives are spent at work. Can meaning be found there?

If there is meaning produced in the product or service of the organisation, are the organisation’s own processes in alignment with the product?

2) In this organisation are we EVOLVING as INDIVIDUALS by working here? Are we meeting our own personal goals by working here? Would I want to work here? Quality of Life

Is a personally balanced life encouraged by working in this business?

3) ‘Work Community ‘ involves relationships outside our immediate work place ~ suppliers, clients, service industry, etc
By analogy, ’MAKING LOVE’ is the bottom line with all we supply and are supplied by. Ask, would I want to supply this business?

4) Profit Bottom Line ~ the OXYGEN that makes the rest of the company grow. In balance with other bottom lines, modest profit growth goals are quite possible and exceedingly beneficial for the ‘whole show’

Process of integrating these four bottom lines begins when awareness of the integrating process is conscious.

Create a business in which a whole human being can engage in the business and not feel personally violated.

How do we do any of this? By learning to take on the role of the Other, step outside ourself and our perspectives

Through the Wardrobe
Pacific Integral June 13-14, 2006
Chippenham, Wiltshire, England
www.pacificintegral.com

Through the Wardrobe is a two-day experiential workshop that presents grounded, practical application of the Integral perspective to organizational change. The Integral model, which essentially allows for and integrates the contributions of all perspectives, theories, and practices, is a profoundly encompassing framework that seems to greatly broaden our view of organisational challenges.

Yet, it speaks little about practical application. How do we take an integral perspective and allow it to inform our organisational interventions? This is the inquiry we began over ten years ago and one we are still engaged in. We invite you to join us, learn from our experience, and inquire with us. Based on over a decade of work applying leading methodologies for change through an integral framework for assessment, design and intervention in human systems
